Denise - May 2012 If you want the best for your cat and peace of mind, when you go away put your cat in Cuddles Cattery, its modern chalets are cat friendly, there is nothing they can hurt themselves on (i.e. wire mesh) its all UPVC and finished beautifully. Gail and Steve who run the cattery are the nicest people you could meet, they instantly make you feel comfortable. So its 10 out of 10 go and have a look for yourself, its the best and so are Gail and Steve. My cats are very special and they deserve the best and they got the best at Cuddles Cattery. Tony & Betty - July 2012 My wife came across Cuddles in April through a leaflet in my wife’s hairdresser, we have been putting Mopsy our cat in catteries over the last 7 years but when we saw the leaflet we immediately phoned Gail and Steve if we could visit, as we live nearby, to look at the accommodation and were very impressed.
We left Mopsy for 2 weeks while we went on holiday and when we collected her, we have never seen here so contented. The special thing about this Cattery is that Gail and Steve go the extra mile in looking after the cats as though they were their own. The Cattery itself has excellent facilities and the rooms are spacious. We strongly recommend this Cattery, (as long there is room for Mopsy’s next visit) and would like to thank Gail and Steve for their care and attention plus the card and photos were a bonus. During June you looked after our much-loved family pet, Puska, and we are delighted with how well you cared for her. Not only were the surroundings beautifully clean, airy and comfortable, but Puska was very happy during her time with you. We know this by her body language, and her liking for Steve, when we came to pick her up...(I remember thinking: 'steady on girl! you belong to us!!'). Thank you both very much. Martyn & Joanne - Nov 2012 Our two cats Kaya and Koko stayed at Cuddles Cattery for two weeks in early November 2012. Steve and Gail put our minds at rest when they showed us around the brand new, fully insulated cattery. Their attention to detail and the fact they make a point of getting to know each cat; left us feeling confident that Kaya and Koko would enjoy their holiday. The cats get a chance to stretch their legs everyday, as they are allowed into the main chalet whilst their individual rooms are being cleaned. The chalet was warm and the background music made for a very relaxing atmosphere. An email update from Steve and Gail, letting us know how Kaya and Koko were settling in, certainly reassured us whilst we were on holiday. We had no concerns what so ever but had there been, we?d been provided with the opportunity to bring this to their attention. Cuddles Cattery?s flexible approach to pick up and drop off times reduced the stressful run up to our holiday and the ? Thank You? card and photos of Kaya and Koko was a very thoughtful final touch and testament to just how much care and thought they put into the service they provide. Our cats came back home looking like they had enjoyed themselves, they had eaten well and had been looked after, no complaints from them!Kaya and Koko have boarded at numerous catteries but Cuddles exceeds all expectations and is without doubt the best! Simon - Nov 2012 I have been looking for a cattery to keep my cat Jack in for a while. Looking for a good cattery can be a stressful time for both cat an cat owner. But after a couple of recent bad experiences at other catteries I am over the moon to have found cuddles cattery and will be using it from now on, and recommend others do to. I now know Jack is being well looked after when I am away. The pens themselves are in lovely condition, warm, spacious, mult-levelled, bright and great for a cat to stay in, especially for the price. Sheila - Dec 2012 I just wanted to contact you with a few lines that you may wish to upload onto your website. The truth is that I don't think we would have enjoyed going away at all if it hadn't have been for the fact that you both put us instantly at ease with not only the quality and cleanliness of the cattery but also the way you were both so genuinely concerned for the welfare of all 4 of our cats. Never having been in the position before when any of any cats had had to go to a cattery, I was obviously concerned and anxious about it but the first visit put my mind at rest completely. From asking what food each of them preferred and making enquiries about each of their personalities, to keeping us updated via text messages of what they were getting up to and providing us with lots of photos from their stay - I can't praise your commitment and concern enough. To anyone who seriously thinks that they would never be happy putting their cat in a cattery, all I would say is go and meet Gail and Steve, have a look around the accommodation and once you have you really have no need to worry at all. The only downside is that this cattery is likely to be fully booked all year round once word gets around - I rather think I should have kept the secret all to myself! Ilene - Dec 2012 Just a quick line to thank both Steve and Gail for looking after Eric whilst we snatched a quick week away. On first inspecting the cattery I was very impressed on how clean and homely you had made each of the individual little houses where the cats had to stay, each with their own little theme. My cat Eric stayed in the Winnie the Pooh house - he walked straight in, laid down and looked like he was getting himself settled to have a snooze, so I knew I could leave him because he felt secure. Steve and Gail are obviously animal lovers, especially cats, and I had no hesitation in leaving my cat with them. Gail even sent me a text whilst we were away just to let me know how Eric was getting on and there were some nice pictures she had taken during his stay which she gave me when we picked him up, which showed him walking about the cattery stretching his little legs. We shall certainly be taking him back again for another stay - thank you Steve and Gail for looking after Eric for us. See you both soon xx
Natasha - Dec 2012 Our two girls, Fergie & Georgie stayed at cuddles in early December while we went away for the weekend. From the early phone calls enquiring about cuddles, Gail & Steve made me feel at ease and reassured me that our cats would be properly cared for. From enquiring about the food they eat, times etc to arranging drop off/pick up times, cuddles was great & very flexible. The chalet/outhouse where the cats stay is the best I have seen in the area and we have used other Cattery's before. The chalet was very clean and modern and reassured me that our nervous cats would be safe and sound. Steve & Gail made an effort to keep us updated while we away by text message, letting us know how the girls where getting on etc. This was a lovely touch,as where the snapshots we received when we picked the girls up. We could tell our cats had been treated very well and taken care off. Steve and Gail where great and I would highly recommend the Cattery

LInda & Steve - Feb 2013 This is the first time we had left our young cat, Sparky, and were naturally very anxious about him. We needn't have worried as Cuddles is like a home from home. All the suites are spacious and extremely clean with beds and toys provided. Gail and Steve took great care of Sparky and even sent a text to let us know how he was. Sparky really settled in and was not at all distressed when we collected him. his fur was still lovely and shiny. He even came home with a report and photos of his "holiday". Needless to say he is booked in for another holiday in April.

Martin & Natalie - March 2013 This was the first time our two young cats have been away from home and on arriving at cuddles cattery we knew they were going to have a great time. The cattery is perfect with lots of visuals and toys for the cats to play with and I know that both Lois and Lanei were adorned with fuss and attention along with their favourite food and biscuits. Gail even insisted that as they were both girls they should have pink mats and a pink litter tray!! Really put our minds at ease and even though we missed them we knew they were getting 5* treatment. When we picked them up I don't think they wanted to come home. They are both very much looking forward to their holiday in September.

Amy - 21 Feb 2012 Highly Recommended!!! Both the owners were great and very accommodating! I was initially leaving Sunny (my cat) with them for one week, this ended up as four weeks due to builders missing deadlines! They even opened the cattery two weeks early so that Sunny could stay with them as I did not like any other catteries in the local area! The runs were brand new and well presented and lovely and warm which was a comfort as the temperatures were freezing outside! They called me every week with an update making sure that I was informed that he was okay and being very play-full and that he had settled in okay, and he was getting lots of attention!! I will definitely be using this cattery again as they are amazing and will be recommending it to everyone I know who has cats!!!

Smiths - June 2012 We just happened to stumble across the web site for this amazing cattery, and how glad we were, Gail and Steve are a lovely couple, we you can see instantly they are mad about cats. In the past we have left Ollie at other catteries and have worried about him our whole holiday, but not this time - in our daughters words "he's staying in a 5 star hotel" and she isn't far wrong. The rooms are lovely and clean and each cat gets lots of play time with Gail and Steve.
